2009: A Year at a Glance

The challenge this week at Scrap and Stamp was to do a "year in review" LO, using at least one stamp. They are giving away an acrylic stamp set to one lucky participant. Their challenges run for 2 weeks, so there's still time to play along. I have never done a page like this and was a bit hesitant, but I really like the end result :)

To get started, I used the February Week 2 sketch over at Scrappy Sunday.

It was intended to be a monthly calendar page, but I just changed it a smidge to accomodate my photos. Susanna was kind enough to provide a template and full instructions, so if you'd like to make your own, you can check it out here.

And, here is a closer look at the flowers I created using a scallop punch :)

Recipe:
pattern paper and CS number stickers (SEI)
Dream Big SS (CTMH)
Chocolate, Garden Green, Hollyhock, Twilight Inks
scallop punch
gem brads (MM)
flower punch (Marvy)
pink brads (MM)

  3. I like your take on this sketch. Your expanding the one picture area to alot is great. The need for more pictures, journaling and I.D. of people is so important and it seems that we get lost in the fofo and don't focus at what is important.
Your soft use of color and the play with the LO...well done.
Your awards are GRAND and I will go check out Scrap Stamp. How is being on a DT...I have thought about trying out some where...give me some thought. Thanks for sharing and for your comment....Tootsie*
